I've never worn hemp before. What does it actually feel like?

Not scratchy. Our hemp blends (especially the 30% hemp / 70% cotton mix in the Everyday Wrap Skirt) feel soft and breathable from the first wear, and they genuinely get better with time. Natural fibres have a lived-in quality that synthetic fabrics just don't — the more you wash and wear them, the softer and more fluid they become.

Yes — we use hemp, cotton, linen and lyocell, all chosen for how they feel and how they wear over time. Our dyes are azo-free, which means no harmful chemicals in the process or against your skin. We produce in small batches in India with artisan makers, and we take the traceability of our materials seriously.

Will this fit me? I'm not sure what size to order.

Most of our wrap styles are free-size and designed to fit a generous range of bodies — typically AU 8 to 18, depending on the piece. Each product page includes a measurements guide, and our sizing page breaks down exactly what fits what. If you're ever unsure, drop us a message — we're happy to help you find the right piece before you order.

For our wrap skirts and relaxed styles, sizing up is rarely necessary — the adjustable tie means you have real flexibility in how it sits. For our more structured pieces like the Ningaloo Shirt, we'd suggest going with your larger measurement. Still unsure? We're genuinely easy to reach.

What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?

That shouldn't happen, but if it does, please reach out straight away with a photo and we'll make it right — whether that's a replacement, repair or refund. No runaround.

We offer size exchanges on full-price pieces — just get in touch within 14 days of receiving your order and we'll sort it out. We want you to love what you're wearing, so we'll always do our best to find a solution.

Do I really pay no import duties on US orders?

Correct — we cover all US import duties upfront, so what you see at checkout is what you pay. No surprise charges on delivery.

Australian orders are dispatched from Perth within 1–3 business days and typically arrive within 3–7 business days depending on your location. International orders generally arrive within 7–14 business days. You'll receive tracking once your order is on its way.

Where are your clothes made?

Our pieces are handcrafted in small batches by skilled artisans in India. We work with the same makers across collections — it's an important part of how we do things. Slow production, real relationships, clothing that's made with care rather than at scale.

Fair question. We don't claim to be perfect, but we do mean it. We use natural fibres, azo-free dyes, plastic-free packaging, and we produce in small batches specifically to avoid overproduction. We're a small, founder-led brand — there's no corporate sustainability team here, just genuine choices made one collection at a time.
